About Janice

Hello there! My name is Janice!

I am the owner of Janice Capaldo Agency, LLC. I have worked in the insurance industry since 2003 and decided to venture off on my own on August 1, 2014, when I opened my own agency offering Farmers Insurance products exclusively. I decided to part ways with Farmers and venture into the IA field in 2020. This decision gave me more of an opportunity to help clients by utilizing a variety of companies. Insurance isn’t a “one size fits all” plan and I love finding the right fit for every current and potential client.

I have a daughter, Kyra, who lives in Buffalo with her husband Dylan, and their two kitties (Brick and June). 

When I am not at work, I am typically on the go. I love to travel with my husband, Ben. We took a motorcycle trip from California to Olean a few years ago. This was one of the most amazing things I have ever done. I love the outdoors. I have been hiking peaks in the Adirondacks with my best friends for the past several years. I recently reintroduced myself to skiing, I snowshoe and learned how to cross-country ski this past year. I enjoy Jeep and ATV riding. I try to attend as many Bills games as I can, although they seem to lose when I am there!

Golf is probably my favorite extracurricular activity. I play in a women’s league and in as many tournaments as time allows. As frustrating as golf can be, it is the one place I can escape from work. Instead of the office, my mind is laser-focused on that little pink ball!

You would probably be surprised to find out that while I can be a girly-girl, I also love to get dirty. I enjoy renovating my home and have a pretty extensive tool collection, even though my tool area is pink!
